Directions to Lake Okeechobee

FROM FT. LAUDERDALE AIRPORT: Follow the signs to I-595 West. Continue on I-595 West following the signs to I-75 West. (The signs will mention Naples, do NOT go to Naples, you will exit at the following...) Take the US 27 North to South Bay Exit. Continue on US 27 North passing through the town of South Bay. The next town is Clewiston that's the one we want (hold on your almost fishing) turn right at first traffic light (Francisco St). Go approx. 1/4 mile to Angler's Marina, you will see the marina directly on your right pass Roland Martin's Marina. Surrounding cities include Pompano Beach, Davie, Dania, Hollywood, Oakland Park, Sunrise, Margate, Weston, Deerfield Beach and Boca Raton . (Please always confirm exact location to meet your fishing guide.)

FROM FT. MYERS AIRPORT: Follow signs to I-75 North to SR-80 East to LaBelle. Continue on SR-80 East to US-27. Turn right onto US-27 South toward the town of Clewiston. Continue US-27 South to the last light in town (Francisco St.) turn left. Go approx. 1/4 mile to Angler's Marina, you will see the marina directly on your right down pass Roland Martin's Marina. Surrounding cities are Naples, Cape Coral, Boca Grande, Punta Gorda, Sanibel and Lehigh Acres.

FROM MIAMI AIRPORT: Take NW 36th Street West to SR-826, Palmetto Expressway North. Follow to I-75 North to US-27 North to South Bay. (Caution: Be sure to obey the legal speed limits through these small towns....especially South Bay!) Continue US-27 North, the next town is Clewiston that's the one we want (hold on your almost fishing) turn right at first traffic light (Francisco St.). Go approx. 1/4 mile to Angler's Marina, you will see the marina directly on your right down pass Roland Martin's Marina. Surrounding cities include Hialeah, N. Miami Beach, South Beach, Coral Gables and Hallandale . (Please always confirm exact location to meet your fishing guide.)

FROM ORLANDO AIRPORT: If you follow the directions from Map Blast, it will take you a different route. The following directions are about the same mileage but has less stop and go traffic. So choose what's best for you. Our directions: Follow the signs to Florida's Turnpike and Exit at YeeHaw Junction taking 441 South to Okeechobee City. Go through Okeechobee and turn right onto SR-78 continue south to US-27. Turn left, next town will be Moore Haven (Caution: Be sure to obey the legal speed limits through these small towns....especially Moore Haven!) continue threw town the next town will be Clewiston. Go threw town to the last traffic light, which will be Francisco St. Turn left, Go approx. 1/4 mile to Angler's Marina, you will see the marina directly on your right down pass Roland Martin's Marina. (Approx. 120 miles or 2-1/4 hrs.) Surrounding cities include Kissimmee, St Cloud, Winter Garden, Altamonte Springs, Titusville and Melbourne .

FROM PALM BEACH AIRPORT: Take Southern Blvd west to 441. Turn left on 441/SR-80 through the town of Belle Glade US 27. Turn right on US 27 North passing through the town of South Bay. (Caution: Be sure to obey the legal speed limits through these small towns....especially South Bay!) Continue US-27 North the next town is Clewiston that's the one we want (it's fishing time) turn right at first traffic light (Francisco St). Go approx. 1/4 mile to Angler's Marina, you will see the marina directly on your right down pass Roland Martin's Marina. Surrounding cities include W. Palm Bch., Lake Worth, Delray Beach, Juno Beach, Jupiter, Stuart, Jensen Beach, Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce . (Please always confirm exact location to meet your fishing guide).

FROM TAMPA AIRPORT: MapBlast will take you a different route, but we have taken the following many times and have found it to be quicker. Take I-275 South across the Skyway Bridge and onto I-75 South. Follow I-75 South to Exit 41 / SR-70 East. This will take you through the town of Arcadia and then to US-27. Turn right on US-27, go south to through the town of Moore Haven. (Caution: Be sure to obey the legal speed limits through these small towns....especially Moore Haven!) Continue south on US-27 to Clewiston, got threw town to the last light (Francisco St) turn left. Go approx. 1/4 mile to Angler's Marina, you will see the marina directly on your right down pass Roland Martin's Marina. (Approx. 165 miles or 3 hours) Surrounding cities include St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Tarpon Springs, Lakeland, Lake Wales, Bradenton and Sarasota.

FROM MIAMI AIRPORT: Take NW 36th Street West to SR-826, Palmetto Expressway North. Follow to I-75 North to US 27 North. Take the US 27 North to (Griffin Road). There's no light just a four way intersection. Take a left turn and follow the curved road to the fish camp. (Hurry the BIG bass are waiting!) (Please always confirm exact location to meet your fishing guide.) (Approx. 26 miles) Surrounding cities include Hialeah, N. Miami Beach, South Beach, Coral Gables and Hallandale.

FROM PALM BEACH AIRPORT: Take Southern Blvd east to I-95 South. Exit 36C SW 10 Street go west Toll booth. FL-869 (Sawgrass Expressway) continue south FL-869 becomes I-75 S. Take to Griffin Road west exit 7B. Continue west on Griffin Road till you reach the four way intersection after the curve. This intersection is US 27 continue straight across. If you just when around two sharp curves your almost there. Go over the little metal bridge and stay to your right. (Home free you made it!) (Approx. 64miles) Surrounding cities include W. Palm Bch., Lake Worth, Delray Beach, Juno Beach, Jupiter, Stuart, Jensen Beach, Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce.

FROM ORLANDO AIRPORT: Take SR-528 Toll east towards Cocoa/ Kennedy space center. Then take Bee Line Expressway/FL-528 east, continue to I-95 south. Exit 36C SW 10 Street go west Toll booth. FL-869 (Sawgrass Expressway) continue south FL-869 becomes I-75 South. Take to Griffin Road west exit 7B. Continue west on Griffin Road till you reach the four way intersection after the curve. This intersection is US 27 continue straight across. If you just when around two sharp curves your almost there. Go over the little metal bridge and stay to your right. (Home free you made it!) FROM FT. LAUDERDALE AIRPORT: Follow terminal drive onto South service road turn right onto Perimeter Drive. Follow it to Griffin Road(FL-818W) Turn right go approx. 1 mile to I-95 south. Continue south to SR-836 west exit (exit #6). Merge onto FL-836 west/Dolphin Expressway. Take the NW 42nd Avenue/ LaJeune Road exit to the left, Merge on to LaJeune Road. Go south for 1 mile turn right on NW 7 Street. Approx. 3/4 miles on the right. (Approx. 28 miles) Surrounding cities include Pompano Beach, Davie, Dania, Hollywood, Oakland Park, Sunrise, Margate, Weston, Deerfield Beach and Boca Raton.

FROM MIAMI AIRPORT: Follow exit airport signs to NW 21 street, go approx. 1/2 mile to SR-112E on ramp on right. Keep right at the fork in the ramp and merge into (SR-953 or LaJeune Road also NW 42 Ave) Go south for 1 mile turn right on NW 7 Street. Approx. 3/4 miles on the right. (Peacock Bass heaven). (Approx. 3 miles) Surrounding cities include Hialeah, N. Miami Beach, South Beach, Coral Gables and Hallandale.

FROM ORLANDO AIRPORT: Take SR-528 Toll east towards Cocoa/ Kennedy space center. Then take Bee Line Expressway/FL-528 east, continue to I-95 south towards Miami. FROM PALM BEACH AIRPORT: Take Southern Blvd east to I-95 South. Continue to I-95 south towards Miami. Continue south to SR-836 west exit (exit #6). Merge onto FL-836 west/Dolphin Expressway. Take the NW 42nd Avenue/ LaJeune Road exit to the left, Merge on to LaJeune Road. Go south for 1 mile turn right on NW 7 Street. Approx. 3/4 miles on the right. (Approx. 75 miles) Surrounding cities include W. Palm Bch., Lake Worth, Delray Beach, Juno Beach, Jupiter, Stuart, Jensen Beach, Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce.

FROM TAMPA AIRPORT: Take service road to Airport exit, take the SR-60 ramp towards Downtown(I-275). Turn onto North Memorial Hwy/FL-60 east., take the I-275 south exit towards St Petersburg. I-275 south becomes Howard Franklin Bridge. I-275/Howard Franklin Bridge becomes FL-93 south that becomes I-275/FL-55/US-19 ( sounds confusing just follow highway south to I-75 south ramp towards Naples. Go south on SR-27 to SR-826/Palmetto Exwy exit #1A towards Miami. SR-826/Palmetto Exwy becomes SR826. Follow SR-826 east/west exit to Airport/Miami/Turnpike keep left at the fork merge onto FL-836 east. Take SR-959/Red Road exit towards Coral Gables, merge onto North Red Road/FL-959/NW 57 Avenue. Turn left onto NW 7th Street go approx. 3/4 miles on the left. (Approx. 275 miles) Surrounding cities include St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Tarpon Springs, Lakeland, Lake Wales, Bradenton and Sarasota.
